At Harbor Bay Pediatric Dentistry, we want you to feel comfortable with your child’s care and understand the costs involved. Our team will help you navigate the insurance process.
How It Works
1. Share your insurance information.
Provide your insurance card and policy details so we can review your child’s dental benefits.
2. We submit a pre-treatment estimate.
We will send your child’s proposed treatment plan to your insurance company on your behalf and request an estimate of what your plan will cover.
3. We explain your estimated portion.
Once your insurance company responds, we will review the estimate with you and collect the estimated patient portion they identify, including any applicable copay, deductible, or coinsurance.
Understanding Your Estimate
A pre-treatment estimate is not a guarantee of payment. Your insurance company determines final benefits when it processes the claim. If its final payment differs from the estimate, your balance will be adjusted accordingly.
State-Funded Insurance
We do not accept state-funded insurance plans, including Florida Medicaid and Medicaid managed-care plans. If you are unsure what type of policy you have, our team is happy to help clarify.
